Omar Courtz San Diego reviews
Imagine Dragons were AMAZING!
Initially, I was nervous that I'd be too tired to really enjoy the music due to some poor planning on my part, but I really enjoy Omar Courtz and I had never been to Red Rocks so I thought this would be a good "two birds, one stone" moment. The opening bands were good and they set up quickly for both which was nice (I've been at shows when it takes a good hour after the opening band to set up for the actual show which is ridiculous). It was pretty fantastic when Omar Courtz came on, and they definitely put energy into the crowd (including myself). The graphics they had were awesome and it's obvious they were all talented musicians because it was just as good live as in their albums. It was a warm yet not too hot night as well for an outdoor show and it was obvious the band really was enjoying that part. I felt the set up of the songs were timed just perfectly, too. The only negative was getting out of the park...I kind of wish the park staff had directed traffic from the beginning instead of waiting until an hour after the show to show up. After they were there, it made traffic so much easier.
